Per user, per year. Count the people you want protected, choose a plan, multiply. That is the whole calculation. There is no separate charge based on how much data you have, which means we can give you a price on the first call instead of asking you to go away and audit your storage first.
Because you already know how many people you have, and almost nobody knows how many gigabytes they have. Pricing on storage puts a research task between you and a quote, and it makes your bill move every year for reasons you cannot predict. Pricing per user gives you a number you can budget, defend and repeat next year.

Yes. Vaultastic is billed annually in advance. There is no monthly billing option.

No. The plan rate and the four add-on packs on this page are the complete price list. No per-mailbox fees, no charge for the volume of data you bring in, and no fee to take your data out.
No. Loading your existing and legacy data into Vaultastic is free, however much of it there is, and you can do it yourself using the built-in tools. If you would prefer us to do the work for you, we can quote separately for onboarding and migration assistance. That is a charge for our people’s time, not for your data.
Your plan rate is what you see on this page. If your team grows, you pay for the additional users. If your shared storage pool fills, you top it up at the published rate. Nothing else changes on its own.
You add them at any time and pay for the balance of the year. You do not have to wait for renewal.
Each user adds their allowance to one company pool. On Essential, 50 users means a 1,250 GB pool for the company. Heavy mailboxes draw more from it, light ones draw less, and nobody hits a personal limit.
We tell you before it becomes a problem, and you top it up at the published rate: ₹750 for 25 GB per year on Essential, Business and Complete, and ₹1,875 for 25 GB per year on Essential+. Your service is not cut off while you decide.
Because “unlimited” almost always has a fair-use limit written into the contract, and you discover where it is at the worst possible moment. We would rather you knew the number in advance.
Start with what you need protected. Email only is Essential. Email and files is Business. Email, files, chats and SharePoint is Complete. Then ask whether your team needs instant access to email that is years old. If it does, move from Essential to Essential+.
Both protect email and both give you 25 GB per user. On Essential, your last three months of data is instantly available and older data is retrieved on request. On Essential+, everything is instantly available however old it is. Essential+ suits legal, audit, compliance and customer support teams who work in the archive every day.
On Essential, Business and Complete, data older than three months is held in a lower-cost deep store, and retrieving it can take up to 48 hours. This is a deliberate design choice and it is why those plans are priced the way they are. For most businesses, needing a three-year-old email within the hour is rare. If it is not rare for you, Essential+ keeps everything instantly available.

Large data volumes, long or non-standard retention requirements, or anything that does not fit neatly into a per-user plan. It is priced on what you actually consume rather than per user, there is no minimum commitment, and it is quoted to your situation. If you are not sure whether you need it, you probably do not.

No. Setup is done through a guided screen and most customers are running the same day. If you would rather we did it, we can quote for that.
That depends on how much you have. The tools are self-service and run in the background without interrupting anyone’s work.
Yes, at any time, in standard portable formats. There is no lock-in and no exit fee.
No, and this is the most common misunderstanding we see. Microsoft runs the platform and keeps it available. Protecting the data inside it is your responsibility, and Microsoft says so in its own service agreement. Retention policies and recycle bins are short-term tools, not an archive. If a mailbox is deleted, an employee leaves, or an attacker gets in, native retention will not reliably get your records back.
Both, which is why businesses use it for two different problems at once. It keeps a separate, tamper-proof copy of your data for recovery, and it keeps a searchable long-term record for audits, legal cases and compliance.
